Early Riding

By arhab
At First, I want to take a sunrise picture. Then suddenly this man show up with his motorcycles.

My goal on this photo is to show an early morning situation with orange sky and a little dark.

Any comment appreciated. Thank you.

This is a really good capture. I know you did not want the man and bike in you picture but actually in my view they add to it.
The image now tells a story rather than just being an attractive sunrise landscape.
The composition is spot in with the bike in just the right area of the frame.
I have done a mod (click on modifications above). First I cloned out that bright red tail light because I think it attracts the eye too much.
I also brightened the whole image and increased the mid tones in photoshop levels (PS elements would do this too) then I increased red and yellow saturation a little. I also applied just a touch of sharpening as you probably lost a little when resizing for the web, I also despeckled a little.
Good one

The man and bike is the picture. The rest is background. Just fry and lift the bike where it is shadow a touch with the dodge tool.

Paul said it right, without the capital letters: The man and the bike IS THE PICTURE! Without this opportune moment there would have been noting at all special about your shot. Now there is.

I have uploaded a mod. I think after various crops, this is ideal for a panoramic, 16:9 format; I reduced noise and sharpened a little; darkened the upper area, the sky. which deepens colours; lightened the man on the bike by lifting shadows; I reduced the saturation of the rear light so its less strong.

Regards

Willie
