This is just stunning ..... the colours and the detail are superb, and the clarity too .... you have captured her eyes so beautifully! It is an image full of mystery and beauty. Well done! Now I am off to see the previous one you talk of!

I like the eye contact. I think the colour of the veil works well with the background, the image appears to me to have a 'mysterious' feel to it.
Cracking image, I think I prefer this one to the first.

Wonderful portrait. The eyes are so beautiful & focused. The colours are just perfect. You should have waited till the morning to publish. I hope it gets the deserved clicks. Where was this taken?

Both images are superb; this one just edges it for me because of the greater eye contact

This one as the eye contact is better (stronger), but I like both.

Martin,

Both are superb, but for me it's the first one because the eye contact is more a subtle, more of a fleeting glance. As I said though both are excellent images…

Cheers,

Gary

Great shot, makes you focus on the eyes. Reminds me of a National Geographic cover from some years ago. For me, this is better than the previous shot.

This has bags of impact. I prefer the way this one is cropped rather than the previous upload. Also the eyes are better lit in this one. Click.

Thanks Guys.
Rog, One Large softbox to the right and a hair-light above left, and reflector( a white wall) to the left.
The shawl ( an off-cut of curtains) was held together with staples...
I was using the camera tethered so could make adjustments as I went.

Can't add to the above, but my preference is for this one. The first image was more mysterious, but the focus on the second shot is quite superb. Congratulations.
