Eating out

By CaptivePhotons
My first try at candids. Had the camera dangling around my neck with a 50mm lens and just strolled through town, firing off a few. I did toy with the idea of a telephoto zoom, but felt a little happier this way as it wasn't so obvious.

Really nice shot, and works well in mono. I love his expression and the nonchalant angle of the fork.
Candids are fun, and you're right to avoid anything as obvious as a telephoto zoom. Give it a few tries and you will be totally without shame!

Nice shot, love the expressions. Know that area well, great place for any form of street photography.

Splendid effort - you were obviously born to candids.
However - telezoom=more obvious but further away...............
