Egret take-off

A rare spotting of an Egret in my local park, although it does house over 50 heron. This Egret is the parks most recent visitor and has been around for about a week now. I decided to go along yesterday and camp in some reeds next to the lake and wait. Patience paid off as the Egret turned up and began fishing nearby. It ended up getting chased by a Coot and took off and the shot above is the result.
