Eilean Donan Sunset

By Sue_R
Couldn't resist popping over to Eilean Donan Castle for sunset while we in Skye last week. Unfortunately, there were very few clouds so not the sunset I have hoped for, but just had to take a few shots anyway - as you do Smile

Thanks to those of you who took the time to vote and comment on my last upload and special thanks to Annette (annettep38) for her User Award.

Just a nice enough scattering of clouds to make the difference! Lovely low-light capture and so beuaitully composed.

Slightly different from you Sue and I like it a lot. Would maybe be tempted to balance the image top to bottom by tightening the crop above the clouds and placing the horizon dead centre.

How could anyone not resist popping over to visit this! Wink A very peaceful looking scene captured here, Sue, and it's a sunset I'd be happy with Smile
Thanks again for your UA!

Gorgeous peaceful scene Sue. I love the way the brightness of the Sun just about to go down into darkness, draws the Eye to it, and the Castle still with detail and not just a Black outline. Smashing!
