El Teide Lava Road

By MarcPK
At about 2,400m altitude, this road stretches across a vast lava field originating from the most recent eruption of the El Teide volcano in Tenerife a couple of centuries ago.

I used a polarising filter which brought out the blue sky better.

Many thanks for looking!

Hey, LOW viewpoint or what!
As far as I'm concerned that really makes the shot. Very bold & great composition.

The only downer are what appear to be JPEG artefacts on the skyline.

Wish I was there, sigh! Goggz
