Elgol Wedding...

By Scottishlandscapes
...a picture story, my 3rd offering from the Cliffs at Elgol on the Isle of Skye, a wedding album image.
The couple had already been out across Loch Scavaig to Loch Coruisk for earlier photographs.

They knew I was there I had waved and congratulated them as they walked back off the shore.
Doubt the photographer was happy.

I was.

A dramatic setting Dougie. I love the way you have used the shapes of the rocks and the mountains in the composition.

Such light... and the tiny figures give the scale. Marvellous.
And I imagine she was glad of that cardy.

And thanks for the Wee Tree, which is being transplanted to my virtual mantelpiece even as I speak.
I happily return the compliment.

What a fabulous spot in which to have one's wedding day documented: and the lead image in particular shows how insignificant the human presence is when it is placed in such a big landscape. Nice that you also managed a few more intimate shots.

A day to remember for sure. And you too, will remember. A great set Dougie.

Great shot !!.....these long shots sure bring out the majesty in the hills, especially by
including the figures, adding the scale !!.Grin
