Embrace the Light

...........and click and run.
Behind this tranquil scene and behind me there appeared to be a herd of slow munching and slow moving cattle.........a thunder of hooves proved them to be frisky bullocks taking a direct approach. The thought of taking a flying leap over the fence or into the water!!! ............hmmmm. Tongue

Great shot Chris that brings out the best of what's there.

The two times I've been there the cows were a long way off fortunately although I was still wary. I don't envy you that experience Wink

It's a great composition and worth the uncertainty of the cattle, if it were mine (and Lord knows I'm no expert) I would perhaps crop the image from the right to the very right hand edge of the pond, cutting out most of the sun, but still leaving some of the sunburst rays. I know that would put the mill in the centre, but the shape of the pond would carry that crop.
Having said all that, the golden light on the sail is something quite special! Hope you don't mind the comments

Wonderful capture of this sunrise Chris, with such a blaze that's lighting up the landscape of early morning. Looks a super location for this windmill structure.
Well done under the threat of cows! James Smile
