Emerging from the bracken

By Kaxxie
Hi everyone

This is the moment the magnificent stag emerged from the bracken on Sunday in Bushy Park. Most of his ladies were already in the lake. There must have been at leat forty of them. A few of them were too scared to come past the people so took to hiding in the bracken. I’ve put his ladies in the versions I couldn’t get all of them in one shot with the lens I had on the camera and I certainly wasn’t going to change lens with this magnificent beast so close to me! 😉 One of the versions show how close he got to people walking on the path. Everyone gave him plenty of room even though we were far too close.! 😉

Thank you all for the votes and kind comments on yesterday’s image of him bellowing and to Alan (af1), Kathy (Cooky), Ian (Mac), Lillian (Lillian), Len (Len1950), Debs (frogs123) and Sue (SUE118) for their precious UAs. I really appreciate you all.

Take care

Karen

Terrific lead image, Karen, and very good ones of his ladies too. Didn’t expect v.1 with people so close, they are very privileged to see him 👌
