Encounter

By lefty
Took this one on our trip to India in November last year. It was amazing seeing such a beautiful animal in the wild. On the one hand I was happy to be high up on the back of the elephant, on the other it was not easy to keep the camera steady (with hindsight I am not sure whether this was because of the elephant or the excitement)... a truly magical experience!!!

Thanks for looking

Thanks very much everyone for your comments.

It was indeed a dream come true Smile

@Hollie
It felt rather safe on the back of the elephant. However, when the elephant made moves to sit down with us still on the back, I started to get worried :S

Great capture, thought you must have been on an elephant to get this shot, did this as a kid, would love to do it again some time
