End of an era

By JohnDyer
After 40 years my relationship with Nikon cameras is curtailed, I bought A Nikon EM in 1981, followed by a FG20, F301, D70, D300, D7200, D3500, and then the D500. I have enjoyed them all and was looking forward to the advances with mirror less cameras and the opportunities it brings.

Sadly whereas other cameras ran with the technology, inbuilt ND, high Res modes, faster shutter, focus stacking, image stabilisation, Live composite, art filters etc etc, Nikon, disappointingly, seem to have stood still and embraced nothing new, twice. Lovely cameras, imaging second to none, but i want some fun Smile

So, sadly, time to move on. This might very well be my last image with a Nikon, My Oly Em1 Mkiii arrived yesterday and so far I'm impressed, half the size and weight of my DSLR, lets see how we get on.

Anyway back to today's image, this is Durdle door a week ago on a trip away with David (DTM), 10-20 lens, ND filter (which I may not carry anymore) and a 5 bracketed image, sat on the beach, camera on a tripod.
On a beach, with David and I didn't get my feet wet, that's a first.
