End of the Line

By MarkT
Another shot of the doomed Tinsley Cooling towers in Sheffield next to the M1 and the Meadowhall shopping centre. This shot was taken on a railway bridge over the River Don, you can just see the brown water about 30 feet below through the missing decking. I知 sure the railway line is not used anymore btw.

Cheers for looking.

they make for a great subject Mark, i have some about 40 mins away from me that are sealed off and guarded by security. I managed to gain access to the site for about 20 mins back last summer but was nabbed by said security and chucked off. Twas a photographers dream and i could've spent all day there shooting.

Well done

Regards
Dave

Dave, there's a new fence all the way around this site now, shame because I wouldn't mind a shot looking up inside the towers.

Thanks folks.

Like this Mark. Captured the texture of the frosted timbers well and nice use of the steelwork to frame the towers.
