Grey and gloomy Monday, but against all the odds this image raises the spirits. A beauty, Kathy.

good composition, the dark sky does make the rigging stand out, and the windblown flags help it too.

I love the way you have framed the boat in between the rigging of the foreground boat.

Certainly is a cracker.

How do you get the deep, rich finish on your pictures. They have a very classy look to them that I struggle to get.

Like it, good high saturation image, the ropes on the LH side overlapping the yards of the boat irks me a little though.

Weather is crap, innit!

Kathy another superb image, such a good and interesting composition.
Looks like we have the same weather here in Nth Norfolk.
If you ever fancy meeting up sometime, somewhere between Nth and Sth Norfolk it would be great.

Thanks everyone - glad you liked it in spite of the gloom!
Ian - you know the secret, I'm just copying your style! ;o)

Kate - would be great to meet up sometime - I'm always inspired by your shots of N Norfolk, must plan a trip up that way soon. Visited the Cromer and Wells area a couple of times over the summer but the weather was pretty dire (no surprise there!)

Thanks again folks

Another truly amazing shot. Can I ask what filter - if any - you used to capture this mood?

Thanks again everyone.

Cameron - didn't use any filters for this except the plain uv filter which lives on my lens at all times. I sometimes use a polariser, and occasionally ND grad filters to darken off the sky a bit, but in this case I applied a grey grad filter afterwards in Photoshop. Cheating, I know :o)
