Thanks to everyone for the V&Cs on my image 149 Steps, all are very much appreciated.

Today, I've decided to continue with the theme "Doorways", definitely out of my comfort zone setting myself a mini-project but I'll try and stick with it for the next few days!! This was taken at Chirk Castle in North Wales, and what attracted me to this was the variety of colours, texture and tone of the stonework.

Have a good day.

I like the way the eye is taken through the archways to the black doorway, half seen in the background. A well composed image.

A very effective point of view which makes for a very satisfying and coherent composition; the exposure is nicely balanced (leastways to my inexpert eye!) and the detail is lovely. SmileSmileSmile

A well chosen POV and composition, Angela.
I like the inclusion of the door in the distance.
