Epinotia subocellana, sometimes known locally as the White Sallow Bell. A very common but small Micro Moth that has a wingspan of about 10-12mm and a length of approximately 7-8mm. Found in most woodland and damp habitats, foodplant is thought to be Willow and Sallow. The adults are on the wing during May to July, flying from dusk onwards, and are attracted to light. Still getting plenty of visits despite the time of year with at least 3 different individuals making regular visits.
