Hello everybody, I am very happy to be back. I will be uploading pictures of my trip to Bogotá, Colombia of Nov-Dec 2014. If the camera settings are not in "manual mode" is because I didn't travel alone, and my sister complained bitterly about my taking photos everywhere. So I decided it was more important to get the shot than how I got it.
I apologize in advance for the disappointment.
Hugs to all,

Nice to see you again, Marian!

My wife does the same - a real incentive to speed up, I know.

Does your sister also not notice when you stop to take a picture, and wander unerringly into shot?

It's great to see you back!
This is something that I love - reflections are so much more mysterious the 'right way up', the brain doesn't expect to see them like this. Can I suggest that this would be even better without the little legs at the bottom?
The ripple is wonderful by the way - think how long it would take to contrive that in Photoshop...

Of course, hahahahaha! How do you know???? hahahahaha!
I never told her how much that bothered me because I am sure she would've done on purpose every time.

You are still the same great bunch of people, I am glad some good things never change.

Always, always, always.

I was very hesitant about what to do, but instead of trying to fight back at my sister and ruin the whole trip I just switched to Shutter Priority. No pride was infringed in the process. Wink

Do not apologize. I love this shot. The perspective is very jarring and highly creative.
I understand your situation. My family is always getting annoyed with me -- wanting to get the perfect shot while they are now well ahead of me on our walk.
