So much to look at in this image Alan, keeping me engaged and coming back for more. Superb my old mate.

Survival at it's best!
Health and safety probably took it down!

your story makes it poignant and special.. coz we also see it destroyed to bits and pieces and for my own fancy i imagined it was done by waves..
a very common sight anywhere in india.. it's a news to me some people live in these in england too..

Has a 'castaway' feel about it...but then you are brought back to reality whe you notice the power magnificent industrial backdrop. Beautifully processed Alan.

Great assessment, very effective image, Alan. Good to have the ephemeral structure so well recorded for posterity also.

A hideaway on the beach a place of many adventures I expect - what a shame it's not there anymore

People here don't live in these, PK ( though some poor souls do live on the city streets )... children sometimes build them as "play houses. "

Yes, good tags...
So many possible stories. Fishermen? Children? Glue-sniffers? 'Big enough for two people'...
I hope that nobody was in it when it blew away.

Fine detail, lovely processing again.
Sort of place we would build as kids, in more carefree times.....

Reminiscent of the constructions my mates and I used to create on the local bomb-site, c. 1955. But ours didn't come with any view whatever.
Superb textures on view, plus the contrast between the shack and the industrial backdrop.
I'm amazed at the apparent absence of empty cans & bottles.

Thanks, Alan.. Oh, it's just that you said 'a shelter big enough for two people'.. It's rather heart-warming to know children do such type of constructive activities..

Beautifully captured Alan. I does bring back happy memories, although we never had a view like that!

Hi Alan, only thing missing from this image are the seals Grin. A classic beach shelter built from anything around and taken away by the weather and tides as time dictates. Excellent image with great tones.

A des res, of that there is no doubt. Shame it's gone. Good tags too!
It was never meant as a home from home, but somewhere to while away an hour or three by the sea and watch the birds zoom around the sky above, free as the very birds themselves.

Some day another little hut will appear and bring some enjoyment into a couples life for a few hours/
