I like this one for the capture of active involvement of three individuals, all focused on the same object. Plus there's the referee trying to keep up with the action. My favourite so far of the series.

The best yet I think! - full of action and colour with the boys concentration on the ball shown very well. I like the inclusion of the Ref and the player on the ground - all adds to the atmosphere, but I did try cropping them off to leave the central group in a portait format and it looks Ok - not better, just an alternative.

Thanks, everyone, I am quite surprised that a few of you think this one is the best of the series; just shows how subjective photography is. For some reason I never thought of cropping this one but I do like the mod, Geoff. It would make a good print for their parents.

A lot depends what you are going to use the images for. If it is for photojournalism your picture editor is going to crop everything and just leave the two main players and that is how I would crop it as per salopian's mod but if you simply wanted it for EPZ you would probably crop as per mod by rhol2. A picture editor does not have space in his newspaper to include all the incidental stuff. Excellent timing and spot on focus. Your timing is very good.
