Three stunning sunsets

Amazing shot! Now again F14 !!!!

and why Metering Mode: Center-weighted average? why center?

trying to understand the logic.

Good day Swarna.

In answer to your questions

Firstly f/14 The light had already began to drop quite dramatically and it was blooming freezing, for me a larger aperture meant a quicker shutter speed and one in which would guarantee clarity in depth. I could have kept my original f/29 but that would have resulted in a longer exposure and maybe crept into BULB.

As for the Centre Weighted Average Metering, I was photographing the Barnacle Geese using Av earlier on in the afternoon, and thought nothing about changing it.

I hope that answers your questions...

Very divided opinion as to which is the best image here, Nathan. Seems fairly equal for each version, probably because they are all very good. I like well done images which juxtapose industrial with natural environments, this is particularly good with exceptional colour. For me V1 is definitely my favourite as it conveys best the expanse of esturine environment and is well balanced and processed.

Brilliant, Nathan, V1, head and shoulders above the other two, luv the composition and the crop is spot on. It proves in your variants, how important the composition and crop can be.
Excellent stuff and we can all learn from these variants.
Well done.
