Evening Glow

Forecast was awful for today, so we decided NOT to go to the meet - - SO
back to the garden again.
Really like the evening light catching this flower - really seemed to make it glow - - and my mum's favourite ant is STILL living in there!! Smile

Processed in C1LE and removed a few dustbunnies in CS2

1/60 sec @f8 ISO200 focal length 39mm

I have never seen Hypericum look this wonderful colour before .. that light you had there was really perfect for this .... a beauty to behold and love the ant! Well composed and captured! Excellent detail and dof! Click*

I like this, almost a painting to me, draws you in seeing the little crawlie, find oneself looking for others.

Oh Fran..it is like an oriental lamp..quite beautiful and very magical. I love the colour against the dark background.

Just in the middle of cooking our evening meal (Chicken Tikka Masala a la Fran with pilau rice and Bombay potatoes) so not had a chance to call back in on this yet!
