I like the mods, but as it happens Willie's (banehawi) offering is more like the scene that attracted my attention. Unfortunately I have colour dyslexia and green does not look as strong to me as to most people. I do like the mono version too so I may try this out with one or two of the other shots I took at the time.

White balance is a tricky beastie at the best of times: my feeling is that setting it to auto allows a lot of things to go wrong...
A lovely shot, and Mile's mod really rocks (if you'll pardon the expression) - it is impressive in its own right, and removes any questions about right/nice/appealing colour...

I have had a play, altered the white balance, played with the colours and highered the clarity, I gave it a crop off the sky and the left, removing that little half moon of snow, to make the comp all about the mountains, sky and trees.
Had to have a play, I have never been to such a place, so I have no shots of my own like this
