Every Picture - -

By MrsS
- - - Tells a Story.

Good Evening and I hope you're sitting comfortably - - then we'll begin! Smile

Team W.A.S.P. were determined to find a sunset to shoot on Saturday evening, before a short nap and getting up for sunrise on Sunday (had to make the most of our trip to Yorkshire, didn't we?)

So we set off and discovered that the tide was too far in to have any luck at Saltwick, proceeded along the coast a way to Sandsend, where not only were the groynes mostly submerged BUT the sea-spray was hitting the houses on the other side of the Prom! (No joy there, then)

So our final port of call was Saltburn, and we did wonder if we might even end up somewhere else, but the sky was looking ok, and we parked up, collected our gear, donned the wellies (yet again) and headed for the beach.

Paul noted that there was another photographer there already, but that has never stopped us in the past, and wasn't about to do so again Smile

The said togger wandered past us and having taken a few images, marched up to me and asked "U on EEE Foto Zeeeen, then?"

"Yep", was my reply and when asked my user name I asked if I could have first guess.

To cut a long story short, dear reader ( I know you may not be thinking so just now, but believe me, I could stretch this to a small novel) I guessed correctly and said togger turned out to our very own MrAlien!

Great to finally meet you, Steve, you've been a supporter of mine since I joined and offered me lots of encouragement in the early days, and I was always fascinated by your dark, moody images - always good to put a face to a name Smile

Anyway, whilst we were gabbing, I took this Smile

Thanks for calling in, and if you've actually managed to read all this, perhaps you could go the extra mile and view LARGE! Wink

Lovely water movement Fran.
Only the weekend before when it was Goths weekend, it was low tide at Saltwick Bay at sunset, great we thought, we will be able to get out to the wreck. We did - but the bl**dy sunset didnt happen!!
You got the sunset but high tide - we photographers are never happy!!

Great great great! Frantastic Wink (that's probably a little old now). I love the streaks, the lines really draw you in to the edge of the pier. Too bad the pier's not a work of art Sad But the photo is Grin Hope you had a fun time meeting another EPZ addict Wink
