Nearing the end of an energy draining climb up sharp edge - lake district.
the conditions were horrific deep snow 2 - 3 feet deep and thick ice,visibility very poor,we had to use GPS just to find it.
I climbed this in the summer and the difference between then and now apart from the conditions - about 80% of the foot and hand holds were gone under deep snow and encrusted in ice, but even taking in all that it was still one hell of a climb and an enjoyable one.
A FANTASTIC DAY.
