Yes that's what I'm seeing. Plus, plus... there's a wonderful balance and tension between the two figures, adding to the symmetry / asymmetry. The central figure is calm, static; but that figure heading up the stairs adds restlessness, uncertainty.

That man looking over the top, what a perfect pose, looks like he is not leaving anytime soon.

Wow, impressive ‘static dynamic’ here, love it! And yes, all rampaging school kids should be sent for a week to a rampaging-camp! 😀 They will only rampage in the appropriate locations after that! Preferably large wide-open spaces 🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️

Great composition, with the passageway funnelling you towards the central figure, and then you notice the lady exiting right. Lovely mono tones and a fitting title, David.
