Eyam Hall

By adagio
Many thanks for the votes & comments on my previous upload, with special thanks going to Rich (woodini254), Colleen (ColleenA) and Debra (deejay10) for the User Awards (PMs sent), all are so very much appreciated.

Eyam Hall, a Jacobean-style manor house situated in the village of Eyam in Derbyshire. When the gates are closed in front of you then you just have to make something of them!! Originally, I processed this as a B&W, but changed my mind and ran some colour through it.

Have a good day.

Excellent processing and works very well Angela.

A very sad history but such a peaceful village. Many years since I visited.

Have a good day.

Thought I recognised it. Went round it when it was under the guardianship of the National Trust. Fascinating interior. Back under the management of the Wright family so will have to pay if I go back there.
Really good processing as usual Angela

I now live in the modern day Eyam, but it's not anything like this to look at.
Thanks for posting.

Thatís a beautiful image Angela. I love the colour. It would be such a shame to lose the beautiful tones of the brickwork.
