Eyam Hall in Derbyshire (2)

By PhilT2
Until January 2018 the hall was leased to the National Trust but has now reverted back to the Wright family who still open the hall to the general public
Eyam is known as the plague village after the Black Death of 1665 and 1666. An outbreak of the plague was contained when the villagers decided to isolate themselves from the surrounding communities.
Does this sound familiar ???

By November of 1666 the plague was considered at an end leaving 260 of the population of 350 dead, but probably saved many thousands of lives in the North of England.
A very sobering thought and lesson to the thousands of protesters who think Covid is a hoax

I like the angle of the shadow in this image.

'A very sobering thought and lesson to the thousands of protesters who think Covid is a hoax' - and the covidiots who travelled on the Tui flight that landed in Wales a few days ago - disgraceful behaviour by most of them and the crew.

A very lovely looking building, and a fine mono capture of it here too, very nice tones and textures 😃👍
The current situation is very reminiscent of the Black Death plague 😢

A great lead-up to the front door with great mono tones. It is sad, when some people can be so gullible and believe that its is a hoax. If they get infected, then see if it is a hoax?
