A very good close up Nigel.
Reptiles & amphibians make great subjects I think, lots of tones and textures.

Inscrutable, I think, is the word. Direct eye contact that still cuts us right off. We're as far away from what's going on in that brain as we are from Mars. Really quite remarkable.
I've been watching the frogs in a friend's garden pond but I always forget to take the ****** camera with me...
