Penultimate promised (projected) photo taken during our trip to the Saarland.

Mrswoolybill referred in her yesterday's upload to the contents of a shed we passed during our first day's walk, and how we'd have liked to linger longer. Well, actually I did.......

I was struck by this face surveying me silently from the stygian gloom, daring me with its baleful glare to stop and point my camera at it while warning me of Dire Consequences, rather like some malevolent troll. So I accepted the dare, three times in fact, though the final shot was unusable - perhaps that was the Dire Consequence! (Or maybe somebody will criticise me for not cloning out the shiny air filter.............)

18mm, 1/80th sec @ f5.6

For tomorrow I have promised Bottles, which I shall duly post. However, I actually prefer Eyes in b/w, so any requests may be fulfilled later in the week.

This has an appeal, though its difficult to say just why. I think its the graphic qualities it has. Well titled, plenty of detail for the viewer to take in. Though i think a mono would work, I also think the colours are appealing too

Now I have to cofess that it was I who pushed Bill towards the colour version, I like the very soft reds/yellows.
Plus the diagonal bars show up better. Note how he appears to have his hands on his head...

Low tech robot ? Like the symmetrical diamond containing the detail. Interesting almost pastel colours...unusual for this sort of subject. Nice shot. Could see a mono version looking good.

A lot of soft muted colours here,so not to sure about the mono.Mabey a high contrast version to show its graphic qualities.Phil is correct about the colours. They are unusual.I suspect they are caused by some sort of staining.Purely a matter of opinion, but I think the eyes work better rotated 180 degrees. Its an interesting one Bill.It needs more than just a quick look.I am still studying it.

Well spotted. I love the angle you have captured this. That machine seems to be lonely and have a life of its own.
