I'm not confessing to watching it, but I too think Lady Penelope's car was a Rolls in the 1960s TV series! Wink Two great captures, like both versions equally Smile

A great image of an Icon car.
I been looking for this car to image of it for a long time.
Did see it at the NEC about 10 years ago.
Then lost track of it.
I still like the older FAB 1 that up Blackpool way in a private collection.
I understand you can hire them for wedding.

Other half does not like Thunderbirds so that my wedding car if I ever get married.

So no marriage for me.

he he he.

Great image.

Your right Richard, the original TV car was based on a Rolls, but they wouldn't allow it for the film. Hence the Ford. Nice to see you've captured it in all its
pink glory.
24 Aug 2014 1:39PM
Yep, it was a Rolls-Royce in the 60s. I thought you had photographed a radio from the thumbnail.

Nice group of images.
