A very thoughtful expression captured here, John. Posed for or not? I wonder.

Excellent set, John with the lead just ahead for me. I like Leo's Mod 1 as well.

Love the tones and the 3D effect with great control of light.
Well done.

Lovely portrait John. I prefer the two versions with the plain background (your layers work?) even if a bit of hair detail is lost. The mono version has handled the tonal range better, the highlights in the colour (V2) seem just a wee bit too strong. (more layers work?)

James, the mono version was done because the highlights were a bit bright...

I think the slightly tighter crop with the mono Image has made your model much more dramatic, it seems to bring out more detail especially to her skin and face, maybe some would soften her face a little but I like the detail just as it is.....John

Added a mod - which I like to take full credit for but really it was the facial/portrait tools in Luminar 4.

I've played with the following tools, all slightly;
Smoothed skin
Reduced facial shine
Enhanced lips
Enhanced eyes

I've not altered any colours, contrasts, tones etc and this time stayed away from the boarders.... Smile

Hope you like the output.

An evocative expression and beautiful image John. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The mod I have added reflects how I feel about that expression aligned with your excellent title.

Well, Mr D. what a learning curve for you, don't worry, the pain will pass, a hint of Savlon and take a course of anti bionics, just incase Wink

I can see all the work you have done on this, well done, impressive for your first go with both editing tools.
Love her far away expression and Alfies mod really enhances that.
I like the lighting on her face again, I think Alfies mod really shows that off.
Congrats.......needs an award for all your effort, so, have mine Smile

A great portrait John, but I just had to have a got at it. Worked on the eyes a little.

A wonderful mono with a title, pose and expression straight out of the 50s propaganda schools.
I confess when I clicked on the email link I was thinking the title might refer to one of your signature studies clad only in a surgical mask. Grin

Hard to pick a fav. but perhaps V2.

My previous shot of Mollee was taken a week ago: this one was shot last Friday, 7 days after the first session.
