Faces on the Groyne

By Snaphappyannie
My husband and I occasionally visit the Isle of Wight, where he enjoys listening to and dancing to live blues bands music.
Me? I wander the Island, camera and tripod to hand, exploring new locations and trying to spot red squirrels! No luck so far with squirrels - who are glimpsed in trees and scrub - but are quite shy and very agile.
Instead, I explore! I quite enjoy doing this on my own - and on this occasion, prowled along the breakwater surrounding Yarmouth Harbour.
Imagine my joy when I found these delightful "characters" silently watching me? They are the result of rusting bolts in the wooden uprights, and overtime, decay and seawater have given some amazingly bizarre "silent watchers"!
My fertile imagination!! I've created a small panel of these for your enjoyment! Nothing serious!
