Faded Memories

I finally reached the eerie Iron age fort Carl Wark (pictured) having stopped several times to take in the moment and a few pics on the way down from Higger tor.
The mist was more like a fog and this is not the image i came down for, it should have been looking back at Higger, with sun on my right skimming across heather and rocks but Higger had disappeared. Surely it was only a matter of time for this fast moving mist as seen from Higger (see 'Dawn Delight') to move on, so i waited................. and waited and still the mist refused to budge so i decided to walk back up to Higger, into the light,......... or so i thought Wink
