Fag and two mobiles.

By paulbroad
At Whitby Goth weekend this year. A bit of a comment on modern life? Grabbed as they walked past. Not sure about this one but, as a grab shot, not sure how to do it better.

EOS 7D, ISO400, 18/125 OS Sigma at about 50mm. Auto - P mode.

Grab shot or no, this one made me laugh. Three 'goths' of various ages, one with a cell phone, one with a fag in her hand. Well observed and well taken.

Good point Frank - however the resulting curse may have made me eat my camera!

I like it a lot, Paul. Three is a good number, the action is good, and it's interesting that all three are lined up alongside the railings. I think their costumes are wonderful, but far from being in keeping with mobile phones. I think this image has a lot of possibilities. For instance, you could place them against a spookier background for effect. I've done a mod where I simply removed the background and added some canvas to the left. After that, you'd just need to select the background and put in another one.
PS: I had to have a go, see mod 2.

You've really upstaged me with mod 2, Pamela. Very very good indeed, and on a 600 pixel image too. Nicely done and a far better end point.
