Another image of the non-existent Fairy Pools from our visit to Glenbrittle on Skye last weekend.
There was so little water in the pools that it almost looked like a lunar landscape
Thanks for your votes and comments on my last upload from this location and special thanks to Steve (Meheecho) for your User Award.
You'd never expect these pools to be so drained of flow, knowing what the average rainfall is in that part of the land: so plenty more rock on show, rocks that would normally be under water. Your analogy with a lunar landscape does seem apt.
An image with so much to allow one to sit back, look at and admire.
Rather sad to see so little Water there Sue, got plenty down here at the mo' and hasn't stopped Raining all Day again.
The Fairy Pools looks such a lovely location, and as nice as this picture is, I think we need to use our imagination somewhat, but thankfully, we can revert back to the lovely images that you took earlier
Another gorgeous shot despite the lack of H2O-- a lot different from when I was there!!
a really good image.
Wide angle POV Sue, makes the point of no water
Beautiful image !
Super shot Sue
I'm sure that water's getting less and less with each successive image! They are still super shots, despite that lack of water, Sue, and this one's no exception
I'm waiting for the one with you having a dip in the pools, Sue
I believe they call it foreground interest.
