Fallen Angel

By EnigmaPhoto
My first attempt at a version gallery. Hope it works. Roll over the versions to see individual comments

This one took a few hours to create.

The initial shot was taken in my studio with the shot in mind.

I removed the background, and added a Church and something for the angel to 'stand' on. I colour corrected, and altered the exposure on the Church, until it looked dark.

I then added a suitable background. I got this one from fotolia.

Again, I adjusted the exposure of the background to get close to what I wanted.

I added a moon, stars and wings to the angel, again to get the mood for the final piece.

I tweaked the exposure even more, and added a blue wash to everything to make it look like the moon was lighting the church and angel.

I added shadows to the angel and wings to make them drop away and make the front lighting even stronger.

Finally, I added highlights to the front of the angel to make the front lighting even more pronounced.

Hope you like it.

Cheers for that.

It's the first time I've used the version gallery. It works pretty well, although I had to shuffle them around quite a bit to get the order I wanted. LOL

I try not to upload to much Photoshopped stuff on EPhotozine these days, but I really wanted to try this gallery option out to see how it worked.

In fact I might upload another from the same shoot, different theme.

Thanks for all the great comments guys. I do enjoy doing this sort of stuff to be honest. This one took about 4 hours (not including the original shoot with the model).

I've done another that took a few days... ouch.
