Fallen Light ...

By sut68
Neil came over last night so we took him to Perch Rock for sunset as it's a place he hadn't seen before. We were blessed with some nice conditions late on so I hope he's bagged a few 'keepers' ... looking on the back of his camera last night, I think so Smile

Personally, I had set out with the aim of breaking from the usual routine of mine here and trying to capture something a little different to my usual fayre, this meant going a little longer with my selection of lenses and trying to isolate things a little more than usual.

This was with the 24-70mm before it gave up the ghost and wouldn't zoom any more Sad

Right, dinner has just arrived so I will catch up in a mo'.

Ta for looking in,

Certainly a bold use of the ripples in the sand for the F/G, but then the sun peeping out from behind the lighthouse counters it nicely, very sharp, very colourful and very nice.

Cheers guys ... Fran pointed out last night how much of a lean the lighthouse has, never noticed it before, always thought it was optical!!!

Flare at its best and made the most of that sky as well. Think the FG texture in the sand works very well too.

Cheers again, always a pleasure spending time with you two.
