Fallow Deer Stag.

By paulbroad
Difficult to know how to compose these when the antlers put everything out of balance. This is an almost white stag - there are three in the herd - and the keeper is not allowed to shoot these at the cull. Obviously, whether people like it or not, deer herds have to be kept in check, and a few selected animals are culled each season.

The other problem here was lighting. Many love the sun, but not a bright winter sun for photography. A lot of burning and dodging here and careful exposure to get a passable result.
