Falls of Dochart 2

By TrevBatWCC
Another three images of the beautiful Falls of Dochart, this time looking back towards the Bridge of Dochart that spans the river. The original bridge was built in 1760, though part was later washed away in a flood and had to be rebuilt in 1831. The second version is again looking back in the opposite direction.
Shall be off to the Photography Show at the NEC tomorrow, so hoping to find some nice goodies to spend my money on. If any other of you EPZers are there, I shall look out for you! Smile
Many thanks again to Peter (Mollycat) for his User Award on my previous upload Falls of Dochart , most appreciated! Smile

How beautiful this set is Trev - your processing is amazing. Ken and I spent a holiday in this area about five years ago - not so much water flowing at that time but still very impressive.
Enjoy the Photo Show. Smile

It's a bonny spot and so photogenic as your set today shows, Trev, and it's a favourite destination of our's for a day away.
The lead shot in particular is excellent and shows the step of Ben Lawers in the background.
The cottages in the second version have a superb outlook over the Falls.

Good pov Trevor - mostly people capture the waterfalls - perfect with the snow on the mountain - you can always depend on Ronnie to know a mountain's name.
