A lovely image of a glorious place. I'm relying on memory now but I seem to think that this very familiar scene is often photographed from a point of view which faces away from the wall (?) and, for commercial purposes, on a sunnier day with bluer skies! I like the brooding, atmospheric treatment which makes the location look like a place of habitation rather than a film /TV location manager's dream! That monolithic wall with its buttresses is a remarkable thing. I also like the soft highlights on the railings and the cobbles. For best effect view in full screen!

I remember the original advert very well, wouldn't like to go up that hill on a bike, no wonder there is a handrail for walkers !

Maybe try a crop from the top to just above the tallest chimney pot but, I do like that ominous sky.

The crop just my preference. That house with the thatched roof makes a great focal point. Beautiful light.
