Farina General Store

By DavidFosterImages
Founded in the 1870's during a period of "good" seasons, Farina (Latin for flour) was to be the granary of South Australia. Following several years of crop failures, it became a centre for the Afghan camel drivers who delivered goods through this harsh land. It later became a railway town before being finally abandoned in 1960.
