Cheers MNPHOTO. I was quite surprised how it turned out myself considering the lack of reach my lens had. It was taken from the back garden of my mate's son, where we had a perfect view of the air show. I will upload a few more as the week progresses.

Weather was not good good capture greta cloud effect.

Thanks Paul. No, the weather was very turbelent on Sunday 19th July with low clouds covering the sun for most of the day, as you can see from this picture. I opened the lens to 5.6 to get adequate shutter speeds and setting it to infinity.

Great sky on this. Bit of a different take - nice to see so much of the vapour trails.

Thanks Jon. They were taken just for a bit of fun with the Canon 24-105L on a 5d, so not the most ideal lens for this type of photography. I really didn't expect any of my Farnborough shots to turn out so well, so I was quite pleased, especially with this one.
