By Sone
Taken with a feather in a glass with half water and half lemonade. Macro filters used, Very fun experimenting with something new. Some editing done, boosted some colours.

Very creative abstract. Might be worth playing with the hue/saturation to see what you can get, possibly enhancing the blue coming through the cerise feather. I would also possibly crop in too.

That said this is an interesting experiment and makes for an appealing abstract.

This is the best upload I've seen from you in the Critique Gallery. It has precision and mystery. I like the way you have used the curves within the feather.
The suggest that I would make would be to add just a bit of brightness to make the highlights sparkle. I might look at a square crop too, though I'm not 100% certain.

Very original and creative. And lovely.

The blue tone is caused by underexposure, unless you made it blue yourself, and when this is sorted out, i.e. the black and white points are set, it comes alive. Along with a medium amount of sharpening, the image looks great.

I know you dont have Photoshop, so I cant tell you how to do this, - what editor are you using?

Ive loaded your original with this done, and also a triptych.

Willie
