Feeling The Cold At Derwent.

By Tooma
If you thought this was a B&W shot, I don't blame you; it was taken, and edited, as a full colour shot. It was mid January 2017, and a very grey scene at Derwent Water in the Lake District of north west England. Bitterly cold, yet the water was not frozen.

I wish we had had more time for more pics, but did take a few more. Hoping to get back sometime to explore and enjoy the area properly; it is very lovely. I would like to see it again in summer and winter. So many places to see - need to get busy - once things get back to normal.

I thought it was a mono until I noticed the birds with a touch of blue. The cold? I think you echo what we are all thinking, Tom, "lets get back to normality"
