A Female Banded Demoiselle (Calopteryx splendens) My first of 2017 taken at Priory Country Park yesterday afternoon. Some Saturday shadows too and plenty of green for Isabel.

Fine shots of this insect with the lead version my favourite as focus seems to be more exact where required.

These are excellent Ade, we went looking for Demoiselles a few days ago but I guess it was too early for our area. Great shadows too.
