Another superb shot Margaret. Do you have a hide, or just a very long very fast lens?

Another cracking shot (through the kitchen window again?) Margaret. Beautifully sharp and nice colours / exposure. It looks as if it is leaning against the twig on its left - giving you its best angle Smile

Thank you all and yes this is another thro the window ! I only hide behind the blinds with camera on a tripod with zoom at full stretch, plus 1.5x lens. The male has been in the garden all winter but the female only showed up a couple of weeks ago. Thank you once again.

Superb capture Margaret! Do you use any sort of polariser, or hood to keep out reflections?

Thank you Ian, Mike, George and Mari, I have to take a chance and hope there are no reflections Ian because Fuji didn't put a thread on the end of the conversion lens so I can't use a lens hood or polariser !
Thanks again.

Lovely work Margaret. Used to see these dear wee birds when I was renting a house while this one was being built . Now with so much building going on behind me I don't see half the birds I'd like to . I would be very pleased if I'd taken a cracking shot like this . click .Hard to get on my computer at the moment .Smile))
