Sadly I'm unable to get out to see these this year, on their passage North to there breeding grounds in the Cairngorms, due to the lockdown, so here is a Female Dotterel from last year.

Lovely bird, don't get often in Southampton. We were lucky to spot a flock of 30 in Andalucia. THey landed in a stony meadow and had all virtually disappeared in seconds. John
