Female kestrel

I'd spotted this kestrel several times whilst walking but didn't have my camera with me. Then last week, I finally managed to get a decent shot of her. She was perched on top of a tree overlooking the path on which I was walking. She was kind enough to stay still long enough for me to take the shot, before gracefully taking to the air again. They really are beautiful birds.
