Female Mallard in flight

Shot captured last April while out birding at our local nature reserve.

I picked out this female Mallard as it hurtled towards me, locked onto it, zoomed out and released the shutter in one frantic effort ..... rather pleased with the end frame. The camera/lens combo delivering well here.

Viewing large looks better.
