Female Reed Bunting

By Glostopcat
A female reed bunting I saw from the Willow Hide at Slimbridge on a very murky morning last week. I was fortunate enough to see quite a few of both sexes on my visit. The reserve is fairly quiet at present as most of the winter visitors have started their migration and the vast majority of the summer migrants are yet to arrive.

Perhaps the dull lighting is in your favour with such subjects, as I find it so too with floral studies.
Excellent capture, Ed.
