My 2nd attempt at framing an archive picture. I have now up-loaded the original photo as so many people have said the frame is a bit over board, but I thought it gave it a colour wash of the blue through the picture and inhanced it a bit. But as you have all said.....trail and error. Everyones preference is different.

Excellent shot I think it would be much better without the framing

A beautiful image, but personally I think the frame is overpowering. Carol

Nice one sis.
I think you have put rather a large border on this one rather than a more subtle frame, which slightly overpowers the beauty of the picture.
Sometimes less is more?
Remember when I tried THIS

Hello Trish, the frame does take your eye away from the sky but it's trial and error like everything else. Excellent capture.

What a wonderful sky, the framing is a bit much in my opinion.

Hi there Trish! Thanks for the compliment on Trawler 2! Love this sunset of yours, I have a soft spot for sunrises and sunsets so noticed it immediately! Love, Mandi

Great image Trish, frame is a tad over the top.
I have been there done that and will no doubt do it again,,
Have a great weekend.
I have got a bit behind with my comments...lovely sunset, but I think I agree with the others....the frame does overpower the shot a bit.
